Welcome! We know you likely have questions about starting physiotherapy including, booking your first appointment, cost of treatment, what happens if you miss an appointment, or understanding our processes.

You’ll find our clinic at 90 Horsefair Street, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham, Glos, GL53 8JR
Entrance and reception to the clinic is down the side of the building.
We also have a clinic at Cheltenham College - providing private physiotherapy services to pupils and staff.
We schedule appointments between the hours of 8am and 7:30pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am-12pm on Saturday.
We can sometimes accommodate drop-in patients, just pop in and chat to us.
- If needed there is On Street parking on Horsefair Street.
There is FREE Parking in the car park directly opposite us on Horsefair Street but there is No Onsite parking.
You’ll benefit from 2 private treatment rooms, fully equipped with modern physiotherapy facilities. These include gait analysis treadmill, shockwave therapy technology and acupuncture equipment.
We’re also fortunate to have our own rehab gym, which provides the ideal space for supported rehabilitation via strength exercises or pilates, should it be needed.
- Initial consultation - Your initial consultation session will be 45 minutes long. This includes a thorough consultation to ensure we understand exactly what your physical issues are. We’ll also start treatment during this session, to kick-start your recovery.
- Treatment sessions - Standard follow-up sessions are 30 minutes long, but 45-minute and 60-minute sessions are also available, depending on your preference or the treatment needed. We can discuss this following your consultation.

Yes, you will receive your first treatment during your consultation session.
We can't give you a fixed number as everyone needs a different course of treatment depending on their conditions/ injury/ rehabilitation requirements but it is likely that you will need at least 4 treatment sessions.
Treatment is agreed upon with patients on a continual review at each session.
Absolutely. We’ll ask you to carry out appropriate stretches or strengthening drills to aid your recovery.
These will be sent to you as a PDF file with a link to visual demonstrations, including videos, of the exercises.
We’ll practice these exercises together before you begin; if you’re happy we may film you on your own phone so you have an instant record of your specific exercises.
Payment must be made after each session using card payment or cash.
We have a card reader to take electronic payments/contactless. We cannot accept cheque payments.
To ensure everyone has the opportunity to be seen when needed, we expect that in the case you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, you call the practice and notify us as soon as possible.
If notice of less than twenty four (24) hours is given prior to the appointment, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full fee of the consultation class will be charged.
If notice of more than twenty four hours is given prior to the appointment then you can rebook for free.
We are registered with most Health Insurance companies, please phone to check with us if you are in doubt.
Yes, we provide formal receipts with our relevant membership numbers of the HCPC and CSP that insurance providers and employers require.
If we think imaging is relevant, we can directly refer you for a private scan or X-Ray. You don't need a GP to authorise this for you.
Yes, we have links to all of the local surgeons and sports medicine consultants, if you need further opinions on your medical management.
