Gentle and specific core exercise

If you’re suffering with aches and pains from injuries to your back, neck or shoulder, or just wanting to avoid them, then Pilates is a must for you.

Pilates is a form of exercise originally developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century.

It is used by Physiotherapists to be clinically specific to aid an individuals recovery from injury and pain.

Pilates is now widely regarded as one the best ways to tone up weak muscles and give support to your back, neck and shoulder joints.

It focuses on targeting deep muscles around the spine to improve posture, core stability and flexibility. This low impact exercise has been found to be beneficial in improving neck and low back pain.

Our sessions are based upon 1 to 1 supervision either as a stand alone treatment. Or integrated into your package of rehabilitation
